DESCRIPTION:We have several opportunities for parents to come help the program\, 5 of them are home competitions\, this season and will need as much parent help as possible. Thank you!\n\nTime Trials: Feb 27 + Feb 28\nUniform Distribution -Mar 2-3\nHome Dual Meets:\n\n\nMarch 5 sign ups\nMarch 26 sign ups\nApril 23 sign ups\n\n\nFalcon Relays – March 21 ***MANDATORY ATHLETE ATTENDANCE\nNCC Coastal League Finals – May 9\nCIF Div 1 Championships – May 16\nTrack Banquet – May 20\n\nAt track meets\, we will need help in the following areas: \n\nConcessions\nFinish Line – Clerk of the Course\, Staging the athletes\nField events – Raking and/or measuring at long jump\, triple jump\, high jump\, shot put\, discus\, and pole vault\n\n  \nFALCON RELAYS  PARENT SIGN UPS – Saturday\, March 21\n\nWe need help at field events\, concessions and ticket sales!!!!\n\nFALCON RELAYS STUDENT SIGN UPS – Mandatory for all track athletes\n\nPlease select the morning session (7:30AM-12:30PM) or the afternoon session (12:00-5:30PM) –> For hurdlers\, jumpers and sprinters\nDistance runners\, pole vaulters and throwers will receive assignments form their event area coach and captains.\n\nPlease contact Coach Charlenne or Coach Bath if you have any questions. You will need to get a pass at the Athlete Entrance. Let them know you are a TP volunteer at the jumps pit.\n \n9:15AM-12:15PM\nGirls Long Jump\nBoys Long Jump\n\n12:15-3:15PM\nGirls Triple Jump\nBoys Triple Jump\n\nWhere TP will be set up at Del Norte:\nWe will be set up on the visitor side of the stadium. Look for the yellow TP tent. Please be there 1.5 hours before your event. \nTo qualify for CIF Sectionals:  \n-In every event\, including relays\, the top 2 in each division will qualify for CIF Sectionals then  the next best 12 from Division 1\, 2 & 3 for a total of 18 athletes. \nTo qualify for CIF State:\n– Top 3 in each event or hit the CIF State qualifying mark \nUniform Rules:\n– Athlete must be wearing a school-approved uniform.\n– If any undergarments go below the knee (i.e.tights)\, it must be a solid color including stitching.\n– All warm up clothing (sweats\, sweatshirts\, T-shirts\, Shorts) must be representative of TP track and field or nothing. Athletes cannot wear clothing that represents another TP sport (i.e. football or cross country) or a different school/college.\n– All headbands must be a solid color. \nCheck-in:\nRunning event athletes will check-in at the clerk of the course which is located in the warm-up area 30-45 min prior to the start of the event. \nField event athletes will check-in at the event area appx 45 min prior to the start of the event. \nIf the athlete is listed as an alternate\, they will need to check in to see if there are any scratches.
